I first encountered Bitcoin in 2014, and my initial reaction was dismissive. Like many, I didn’t fully grasp its potential and was skeptical. But as time passed, I kept hearing more about it, and my curiosity grew. A few years later, I had an awesome opportunity to work with a retail Bitcoin exchange, which, to this day, remains a dream job for me!

It wasn’t until 2017 that I made my first Bitcoin purchase, but the journey leading up to that moment had its own challenges. While Bitcoin itself was fascinating, I found it a bit difficult to understand how to use mobile wallets, manage private keys, and navigate the practical side of ownership. The learning curve was steep, but each step I took revealed more about this awesome technology.

Due to my work in the Bitcoin industry, I often get asked questions by friends and family who are skeptical, just as I once was. One thing I’ve noticed is that Bitcoin can seem complicated to the average person. Many are put off by its volatility, while others simply don’t understand it. That’s when I realized that there is a real need for straightforward, easy-to-understand information about Bitcoin.

My mission is to help the average person understand Bitcoin and, in doing so, hopefully contribute to Bitcoin adoption. I believe Bitcoin is the greatest asset in world history and that it has the potential to change the financial landscape across the world. My goal is to teach the basics, avoiding technical jargon, and help people understand Bitcoin and whether it might be the right fit for them.
